Oriental rice papers are suitable for drawing, calligraphy, block-printing, sumi and watercolors. This delicate paper has two surfaces: one with more substance to hold ink or paint which gives character that creates hazy and softer edges. The smoother side is for smaller brush strokes and fine calligraphy.
