Brilliance, defined as the richness, intensity and depth of a color, is possibly the most important quality of an acrylic paint. Brilliance does not mean the colors are garish. Rather, it pertains to clarity and purity of color, which should be evident when the color is applied straight from the tube as well as in the thinnest of films.
